To add a logo to your receipts, you need to ensure that your logo is in BMP (bitmap) format. The easiest method to convert an image to BMP on windows is by using Microsoft Paint.
Converting your logo to BMP
- Open MS Paint
- Load your existing image - File > Open
- File > Save As > BMP picture
Adding your logo to the printer
- Open the utility software for your Epson receipt printer
- If you don't have this then you can find the links to download on our downloads page
- Select your printer and press OK.
- On the left hand menu, click "Storing Logos"
- Click Add
- Navigate to your BMP picture and select it
- If a waring appears about resizing the image, click Okay
- Adjust the brightness of the image to get the best image quality you can. Most commonly this will mean setting the brightness to dark but will vary from logo to logo.
- Press Ok once you are happy with your image.
- Press Ok again on the next screen.
- Now press 'Store to printer'
- Take note of the numbers in the boxes (usually 32, 32) and press Ok again.
- On the left hand menu, click "Automatic Paper Cut"
- Select 'Print logo when paper is cut'
- Select the code combination that we previously saved (usually 32, 32)
- Choose your alignment for your logo (most commonly center)
- Then press Set.
- Close the Utility program and return to i-Clarity.
- It may take a couple of printouts for the changes to take affect.
Enjoy your new logoed receipts!
