Release notes for i-Clarity Enterprise Update 1.1.49.0

  1. Extended Exam Outcome Field
    The character limit for the Exam Outcome field in all clinical records has been increased to allow for longer notes.

  2. Order Received Communication Fix
    Marking spectacle or contact lens orders as collected will now remove any received scheme, unless another order is still awaiting collection.

  3. POS Search Enhancement
    After clicking “Search by Description” in the POS module, the cursor will now automatically appear in the search box so you can start typing immediately.

  4. Patient Creation Fix
    Creating a new patient will no longer remove the buttons on the left of the top bar.

  5. Marketing Email Stability
    Invalid email addresses against patients will no longer cause errors when sending large batches of marketing emails.

  6. Glazing Selection Fix
    The glazing box on the lens selection screen is now populated, allowing selection directly from the lens choice screen.

  7. Dispensing Module Update
    Glazing options and lens finishes marked as non-current will no longer appear in the dispensing module.

  8. New Lens Selection Screen Total
    An additional total, “Total including frame”, has been added to the lens selection screen.


  9. Promo Field Enhancement
    The promo field length has been increased to allow for longer entries.
  10. Product Save Confirmation
    A confirmation pop-up now appears when a product is saved in maintenance.

  11. Scottish Claim Form Update – Myopia/BCR
    The “BCR” text has been removed from the end of the option “Myopia/BCR”.

  12. Scottish Claim Form Default for Over 60
    For patients over 60 with no previous claim, the default is now:
    “Dilated: Over 60, pupils are dilated.”

  13. Appointment Notifications for Optoms
    Notifications about arriving appointments are now visible in the top-left corner of the patient record (sidebar must be enabled with appointments visible for this feature to work).
