You can allow users to modify GP records even if they do not have Maintenance Access. To enable this, navigate to Maintenance, Branch & System, System Parameters and on the right-hand side under Editing and Warnings, there is a checkbox for 'Allow Users To Modify GP Records'.

If this is ticked then users will be able to modify the details of a GP for all patients assigned to that GP from a patient's record.
