You can allow users to modify GP records even if they do not have maintenance access. To enable this, navigate to the 'Misc.' tab in maintenance and locate the checkbox “Allow users to modify GP records”.

If this is checked then users will be able to modify the details of a GP for all patients assigned to that GP from a patient’s record.
